Gigi asked us about cleaning her recently bought vinyl flooring:
"I purchased Moduleo vinyl planks and it seems that it has lost its original luster. What products can I use to give it a little more shine than it has right now? Is there some sort of coating or cleaner I need to use for best results? It is barely new (installed about 3 months ago)...I used swifter wet wipes once and Murphy all surface cleaner."
First, there really shouldn't be a need to add a dressing or polish to a floor that has only been installed for 3 months. The swifter wet wipes are ok for cleaning but we are not familiar with the Murphy surface cleaner.
James Floor Care are the recommended floor care products for all Moduleo vinyl flooring. For daily cleaning, we would advise using James Clean and Quick Dry Floor Cleaner to clean, protect and polish your floor regulary. Should you need to give your floor a greater polish, first use James Basic Cleaner to strip away the existing flooring layer before applying James Semi Floor Polish to deliver that extra polished appearance. I'd suggest just using the James Clean and Quick Dry Floor Cleaner for now as you really shouldn't need to apply any floor stripper if your floor is only 3 months old.
